Adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment filled with love and responsibility. Before bringing one home, consider their needs—time, space, training, and veterinary care. Pets require patience, attention, and a stable environment. Make sure your lifestyle aligns with their energy level and needs. Adoption saves lives, so be ready to provide a loving forever home!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! There are many ways to make a difference! You can foster a pet in need, giving them love and care while they wait for a forever home. You can also help at our rescue home by feeding, walking, and playing with the animals, ensuring they feel safe and loved. Additionally, assisting with vet visits, transportation, or sharing our mission on social media makes a huge impact. Every little act of kindness helps save lives—join us in making a difference!
We’re so sorry to hear that you’re struggling to keep your pet. We have some resources for you that can help you keep your pet, or, if you’re facing a challenging time and are unable to keep your pet, we have some tips for finding your pet a new home.
Sisterwoof spends 100% of all gifts directly on lifesaving animal protection programs, while the remaining funds help maintain our infrastructure and operations. Like any nonprofit organization, Sisterwoof carries out marketing, fundraising and public awareness programs designed to reach the public, grow our membership and influence key decision-makers in the public and private sector.
Our team gets called for help when someone spots an animal in need—whether it’s a stray in danger, an abandoned pet, or a case of neglect. We receive requests through calls, messages, and social media, and we assess each situation carefully. While we do our best to help, our ability to respond depends on available space, resources, and foster homes. If we can’t take in the animal right away, we guide rescuers on how to provide temporary care until a safe solution is found. Every rescue is a team effort!
If you find an animal in need, you can reach out to us! While we do our best to help, we are not a shelter—we rely on fosters, volunteers, and available resources to take in rescues. If we can’t assist immediately, we’ll guide you on how to provide temporary care or find the best solution for the animal. Contact us via phone, WhatsApp, or social media, and together, we can make a difference!
For any questions not answered here, feel free to reach out to us! We’re happy to help and provide any information you need. You can contact us via phone, email, or social media, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your interest in our mission!
